News: Ford Motor Company Awards Dodgen Industries, Inc. Top Honors
Humboldt, Iowa– For the 11th year in a row, Dodgen Industries, Inc. has met all the necessary requirements to maintain its “Fully Meets” status as a Quality Vehicle Modifier(QVM) for Ford Motor Company. Dating back to 1980, Dodgen Industries, Inc’s Ford Motor Company Pool Account is believed to be the oldest in existence.
As a QVM in Ford Motor Company’s Motorhome and Transit Bus Quality Program, Dodgen scored 101.5 out of a possible 111. Intended to improve product quality and overall customer satisfaction, the program provides the motorhome builder with information and guidelines on how to best use and modify the Ford chassis. In order to maintain a Pool Account, all QVM’s must take part in on-site reviews by Ford Engineering Assessment Teams and maintain a “Fully Meets” status.
The assessment performed, covered the following:
- Quality Plan/Program Adherence/Compliance
- General Chassis Modification
- Unique Industry Modifications
- Maintaining records that outline product compliance.
