Specialty Vehicle Manufacturing & Mobile Business Solutions
If you are looking for a manufacturer to build you a MOBILE SPECIALITY VEHICLE, then look no further than Dodgen Mobile Technologies. Since 1977 Dodgen has been building vehicles for specialized uses such as mobile veterinary clinics, mobile command vehicles, mobile medical clinics, mobile dental clinics, mobile product showrooms, and other mobile specialty vehicles. Recently we have added disability-modified or RV wheelchair van models to our commercial product line.
The Dodgen mobile veterinary clinic began in 1977, and has been used by both rural veterinarians providing mobile veterinary care for large animals, and by metropolitan veterinarians providing small animal treatment with a mobile vet clinic. Even mixed animal practitioners have purchased mobile veterinary clinics to care for both small and large animals in their mixed breed business.
In the mid-1980's, Dodgen Mobile Technologies began building mobile product showrooms. Mobile showrooms allow a sales representative the opportunity to use his mobile product showroom to display the products he sells, and do so in a comfortable environment without moving and handling the products in and out of the customer's store or business. Dodgen Industries has named this product group "Showmobiles", but the trucks may also be called display vans; product display vans; show vans; mobile product displays; or mobile showrooms. What ever you choose to call it, mobile product showrooms just make sense when you need to make more sales calls with less effort and transport your samples.
In 1994, Dodgen Mobile Technologies started manufacturing mobile command vehicles. Mobile command vehicles are used to take police, fire, and emergency response operations out into the field. Potential models are emergency response vehicles also known as ERVs; mobile crime labs; mobile command center; mobile evidence collection vehicles; and public relations vehicles. At a hostage scene, large fire, murder scene, or public event with a large attendance, mobile command centers unite law enforcement, fire, and other officials by serving as the control and communication center for all of the agencies.
Dodgen began to build mobile dental clinics and mobile medical vehicles in 1996. Mobile dental clinics allow a dentist to treat patients at schools, churches, businesses or retirement centers with ease. Mobile dental clinics are designed so that mobile dental care can be performed using either shoreline or generator power at these locations. Mobile dental clinics help to reach out and provide a service to those who need dental care and cannot afford or physically travel to the typical dental clinic. Mobile Dental clinics help to make sure that children get critical dental care during the formative years. Mobile medical clinics allow providers the opportunity to go into the community and provide general health exams as well as specialized treatment. By appearing in poor neighborhoods, mobile medical units reach out and get local citizens to come for treatment who often will not go to a hospital. Mobile medical clinics perform such services as mammography, hearing testing, inoculations for diseases, home health care, OB/GYN care for expectant mothers, and education on birth control and disease control such as AIDS and STDs. Mobile medical clinics are a good way for a hospital or private doctor to reach out into the community and perform mobile health care and grow the business.
Dodgen also builds other mobile specialty vehicles, such as mobile laboratories, balloon chase vehicles, toy haulers, mobile offices, mobile classrooms, and many mobile custom vehicles.
In the new millennium Dodgen has added mobility-modified RVs or wheelchair vans to our product line up. We combine the beautiful construction of the Born Free RV models with unique changes as needed for buyers with a disability; owners that must use a wheelchair; or that need a specialized RV. The models can have wheel chair lifts, ramps, accessible bathrooms and showers, transfer seats, chair tie-downs, or special seating positions for dining, reading, or lounging. Special bed configurations and powered window shades may be used to aid with the disability. As owners age they may want to continue the RV lifestyle that they have experienced for years, and Dodgen offers solutions to allow that travel lifestyle to continue in spite of a disability or mobility limitation. Many owners of disability-modified vans may be looking to step up to a larger vehicle than the typical minivan, and Dodgen has custom mobility models as a van alternative.
